Sirens blaze as all hell breaks loose in a prison above the clouds.
Months, years, even decades for some of you. Time has not brought you justice. All you have are but fleeting moments of freedom while the shackles of the Vanders dynasty keep you docile and chained inside your dark, musty cells. Many of Jezreel’s resident prisoners have given up any hope of escape. But not you. You’ve bided your time, patient and still, ready for a single moment of exploitation. And it seems as though it has come with the arrival of one dainty, little Lily Vanders.
A one-shot designed for friends who wanted to get into tabletop gaming without understanding too much of the mechanical rules. This was run in person, taking a solid four hours with five players. Although hectic and fun, it ended up being much more mechanically challenging for players than initially expected. The players were still able to overcome it.

Heavy emphasis on characters and roleplay, therefore each character has their own file with a full rundown of their backgrounds, personalities, and relationship charts with the other players. Aurora Peralith
Aurora was a distinguished practitioner of medicine for most of her life. Her deeds spread far beyond her home village and many sought her out for remedies for ailments unknown. Many revered her, idolized her, feared her. Those of the final party would ultimately be proven correct. Her surgical precision of life was mainly attested to her extreme methods of experimentation on living creatures. Perallith was arrested on the account after a supplier leaked this information. She is currently in the 20th year of her 200-year sentence.
Don Oxfront
Don was imprisoned for a guerilla mission that was sabotaged to appease the enemy and de-escalate war for both sides. As a show of peace, he and his squad were separated and sent to different extremely confidential prisons. He doesn’t blame his superiors for the choices they made, but he will make sure he and his compatriots get out. He is 7 years into his life sentence.
Lily Vanders
Lily is the rightful heir to the corrupt Vander dynasty. However, her sense of justice and fairness offputted the officials who controlled the kingdom. In the aftermath of a shadow coup, Lily was left framed as the culprit for the string of murders of other positive officials. She has just completed the first week of her decade-long sentence.
Prentiss Laxley
Prentiss has lived most of their life completely unaware that they’re different from others. No one around her suspected anything either, as she was so jolly and made the most out of what little she had that there were almost no warning signs of her disruptive side. However, the day finally came when they had nothing left to make something out of. So they turned to the people closest to her. Blood rained and flesh was torn. Prentiss is currently imprisoned for multiple life sentences for the massacre of hundreds of villagers and soldiers. She is currently 2 years into her sentence.
Wesley Brown
Wesley Brown was simply hit with an unfortunate stroke of bad luck in his youth. A Fiend rose up from the circles of Hell and needed a host to hide away from his pursuers. That host just happened to be Wesley. In a fight for control over his body that spanned the course of several days, numerous settlements were razed and countless more were killed. Ultimately, Wesley ended with slightly more control over his body than the Fiend. He was captured but knows that he’s a ticking time bomb with this thing still inside of him. Wesley wishes to get out as soon as possible and search for a way to split himself wholly again. He is currently in the 4th year of his multiple life sentences.
